An elegant and fresh gruner veltliner showing bright, zesty acidity and limey flavors. Some green stone fruit and nectarines, too. Crisp, light to medium body on the palate with a subtle saline twist followed by a medium-length finish. Still could do with more intensity. (S.Pigott)

About the Winery

Schloss Gobelsburg is the oldest winery in the Danube valley's Kamptal area. This winery has consistently been one of the top producers not only in Kamptal, but in all of Austria. Schloss Gobelsburg has been awarded 4 times (2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013) TOP 100 Wineries of the year by Wine & Spirits Magazine (US/CAN).
