Wine Region: Ribera del Duero, Spain
Type: Red Wine
Grape: Tempranillo
Tasting Notes
Good structure, dense, concentrated, with noble tannins of great quality, round and without any sharp points. Very complex aromas, fruit, smoke, spicy notes, with a great balance between the fruit and the oak. It's toasted aromas and minerality give it a very original sensation, with a good intensity and elegance.
About the Winery
Mauro Perez was born among the vines of Pedrosa de Duero, a farmer full of wisdom and love for his land, he planted and tilled the vineyards which today are the source of wines with unique characteristics. Pedrosa and Perez Pascuas are the most commonly mentioned P words in conversations about wine from the Castilian region of Spain.
The quiet Pedrosa de Duero has become synonymous with Perez Pascuas, the surnames of the town's most cherished sons: Benjamin, Manuel and Adolfo. These brothers have inherited a sense of brotherhood with the land that gives them grapes, the fruit of years of hard work. The Perez Pascuas family maintains a daily relationship, motivated by love, with its vineyards. The result is one of the best wines made in the region of Ribera del Duero.
Superb finesse and personality. Outstanding liveliness that promises a long life. Its extreme complexity, together with its solid, powerful structure provide the elegance and potential required to continue growing in the bottle.
Superb in all tasting stages. A very limited production from a privileged vineyard.
