Aromas of fragrant spring blossom, orchard fruit, hazelnut and bread crust lead the nose on this refined white. Made with a red grape, this unique white Sangiovese is a first for India
About the Winery
The word Fratelli translates to mean 'Brothers'. It refers to the coming together of the Secci brothers, Andrea and Alessio from Italy, along with Sekhri brothers Kapil and Gaurav and the Mohite-Patil brothers, Ranjitsinh and Arjunsinh. The name was adopted to represent the desire that each of the promoters nurtured in their hearts - to create a product of truly international standard but one that was made in India using centuries-long Italian wine making traditions. The viticultural and wine-making expertise has been provided by Piero Masi, a leading name in the world of winemaking. Piero is justifiably renowned in Tuscany and is credited with production of some fabulous wines that are acclaimed by connoisseurs and critics alike. Piero's Italian heritage and love of wine are reflected in his commitment towards Fratelli Wines, where he owns a small stake in the business.
