Tasting Notes:

An elegant, spicy nose with developed, ripe, juniper berry characters and firm grainy tannins in the mouth. Very much a food orientated style, maturation in seasoned oak has integrated flavours without overpowering them. Vegan friendly wine. Colour: Deep garnet, magenta. 

About the Winery:

Smallfry Wines is the venture of Wayne Ahrens and partner, Suzi Hilder. Both partners have great knowledge of winemaking. They had experience in mainstream winemaking, before turning to organic, natural and biodynamic practices. Their vineyards in the Eden Valley (led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling) and the Vine Vale area of the Barossa Valley (Shiraz, Grenache, Semillon, Mourvčdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling) are certified biodynamic/organic.
