Starts off with meaty/gamey scents, some raspberry, red capsicum and anise. Succulent texture, bright, light and fresh feeling, big fistful of green herbs in red berries, squeaky acidity, good length of flavour and ease of drinking. It's a pitch perfect medium bodied gluggable red of character and regional coolness/weight.
Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front 92 pts - Grown at 380 metres above sea level. Nine months in French Oak. Fresh, mid weight style. Balance is a key feature. About the Winery
We are proud of our patch of the Adelaide Hills and are excited to share it with you.
Our family has been farming the fertile soils of the Onkaparinga Valley since 1939 and in this time there have been many cattle grazing, hens laying, potatoes grown, flowers picked and since 1998 we have been passionately caring for our vines, and making great wines.
