Wine Region: Western Australia
Grapes: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Notes
Pale lemon in colour, this classic blend shows sweet lime citrus and melons aromas. Its soft, juicy palate has good fruit weight and savoury, textural elements. Layered with regional green herb characters and citrussy acid freshness.
About The Winery
The winery is Ferngrove, in vast Western Australia, based in a wine area called Frankland River. The first wines on this side of Australia date back to the 1830’s in the Perth area. The various districts south of Perth came in the late 60’s, all in all stretching from Perth to Albany, along the Limestone coast. This very small region of Australia, just the tip really on the south-west side, is mostly known for the wines from Margaret River.
