Domaine des Terres Blanches Rose 2016
Wine Region: Provence, France
Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise
Pale candy pink with gold reflection. Clear appearance with very small bubbles suspended. It’s a young wine with a pleasant and intense nose. We smell exotic notes as grapefruit and passion fruit. These notes are increased by swirling and quickly wine will let appear buttery and almond notes. Palate has a frank start although sophisticated. In mouth, first aromas are similar to the nose but quicly change and are close to apricots, mirabelle plum and sweet. Long finish. This complex and harmoneous wine fulfill perfectly its refreshing fonction.
About the Winery
Praised since prehistoric times but also by Greeks and Romans, the region of Les Baux de Provence retains today a most remarkable historical heritage. Unique, it stands as a true bastion of Provencial traditions. And it is here, on this northern slope of the Alpilles, that the ancient Via Aurelia runs along our estate of the White lands. On our vineyard, everything contributes to the best ripening of the grapes: the warm light of dry summers, the purity of the air vivified by the impetuous mistral, the calcareous soil beneath its coat of stony clay. Here everything pleases the vineyard!
