Wine Region: Côte de Nuits, Burgundy
Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes
Aged in oak barrels, this wine with a frank and firm flavor is often worn on raspberries, cherries and sometimes violets. With a reasonable temperament, neither too square in tannin nor too fleshy it pleases white meats and will support a slightly spicy cuisine. A wine recommendable on many dishes because of a very pleasant balance.
About the Winery
Our estate is located in the town of Echevronne, charming village of Hautes Cotes de Beaune. Our farm comes from a family estate. After a year of oenology at the Faculty of Dijon, Pierre CORNU settles on the vineyard of his parents.
In 1981, he married Bernadette Camus, a winemaker and also from a winemaking family in Savigny-Les-Beaune. Today our estate covers 12 hectares of vineyards. Throughout the year, the work of the vineyard is done with great care to obtain the best wine.
