With blackcurrant and other wild berry fruit and cedar aromas, Connetable de Talbot is a very elegant wine. Full bodied with silky tannin's. The wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats, chicken and dishes with hints of ginger.
About the Winery
Chateau Talbot is one of the largest estates in the Medoc, with 102 hectares of vine near Beychevelle. It is perceived as one of the most reliable wine in St-Julien. Since the 1950s the estate has been owned by the Cordier family, who also produce a white wine Le Caillou Blanc de Talbot, very unusual for the area. The Grand Vin is Chateau Talbot and the 2nd wine is Connetable de Talbot.
