Tasting Notes
A wine as elegant as it is classic, with a bright fruitiness that will leave you feeling velvet in the throat. Its mouth is fresh and tender, with well-managed tannins that make it an excellent wine of guard. It will easily flourish 15 years in your cellar, and more.
About the Winery
The vine here is more than a tradition: it is a historical constant. In Gallo-Roman times, the site was already dedicated to the vines. In the Middle Ages, the monks of Saint-Martin de Mazerat also produced wine. In 1969, the estate was acquired by Michel Becot, from a family of winemakers established in Saint-Emilion since the mid-18th century.
