CVNE controls around 545 hectares located in the sub-areas of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.

The vineyards of the Rioja Alta, where the grapes come from for the wines of this winery, are characterized by clay - calcareous soils, arillo - ferrous and alluvial soils and a predominant Atlantic climate.

The winery comprises a set of 22 buildings and draft, among which are the original dependencies of 1879, arranged around a patio.

This winery combines harmony, tradition, quality and innovation. In 1940 it was pioneer with the construction of the first concrete fermentation vessel in Spain, in the 1980s it was with the first non-aggressive winemaking vessel in Spain. The must is dropped by gravity.
